Beginning to Look Like Christmas

Hello! Hope everyone is having a good Sunday and staying safe in anticipation of the storm.

I have began to add Christmas items to my Etsy shop!

I found these really cute Christmas light charms and cookie cutter charms in Hobby Lobby a couple of weeks ago. I bought them with the anticipation of making wine glass charms!

Here are the results:

They are all available in my Etsy shop

Random Hair Tip

I wanted to share a random hair tip with you.. Did you know that if you spray your hair with hairspray before using the blow dryer that it helps to hold you hair in place better? Having curly hair this is a trick I have been doing for a very long time. I thought more people knew about it, but it surprised me that my hair stylist didn't even know this trick! It is so simple but helps so much! This trick is great for styling bangs as well or for a style that you need certain hair to stay in a position. Just mist you hair spray on, hit it with the blow dryer, and mist it one more time with hair spray! Ta da!

New Hair

On this past Thursday, Oct. 11, 2012, I made a gutsy decision.. I cut most of my hair off! My hair, as you can see in the following picture, was very long. My hair, when pulled straight, came to my waist. I have always had long hair, except one time that I cut it short when I was in middle school. I found a hair style online that I really liked and debated for two weeks over what to do.. I wasn't even sure on my way to the salon rather or not I was going to cut it short or if I was going to just got a trim. After talking with my hair stylist, we decided to go short! I was able to donate 10 inches of hair to Locks of Love! That put my hair right around shoulder length, we then sculpted and cut from there. I am happy with how it turned out!
